She was born in Kwang-Ju City, South Korea. She studied Forestry and Environmental Policy at Chun-Nam National University. Upon moving to Seattle in 1999, Moon Hee began her formal web design education.

She is a graduate of the Web Development and Design Program from South Seattle Community College and the winner of the "Most Innovative Portfolio 2001". - The Seattle Jobs Initiative September 2001 Tech-Talent Class In addition, Moon Hee received special accolades for her design innovation as part of the "Web Design and Computer Annual Art Show 2002". - South Seattle Community College 2002

Her interests include Screen-Printing, European History, Graphic Design, and Internet Technology.
